iFunPix is an interesting software application through which you can upload all your media files, including music, photos, and videos, and share them with all your relatives and friends. However, it is necessary for you to create an account, so that you can send your files and share them through an easy-to-remember personalized URL.
The program allows you to create your user account using its own interface, for which you need to provide at least a valid username and password. Once you have your account and you are logged in, you can access the entire program's functionality. It will ask you if you want it to scan your system's folders searching for media files. After that, you are also asked if you would like to proceed with the creation of your first web album right away. Then, you will be free to start editing your album, to select who can view your files, and to upload new ones.
The program's interface is not very friendly, though it is very easy to use, thanks to its tab-like layout. The "My services" tab, for instance, lets you see your customized sites for PC or PDA and allows you to send invitation e-mails to your friends for them to visit those sites. In "My home" you can edit your profile, add new albums, and also invite your friends. "Access" lets you configure your remote access to your PC - thus you can listen to your music and watch your videos from anywhere. In "Friends" you can customize your invitation e-mails and select whom to send them. Finally, the "Search" tab, which allows you to look for other users.
Additional functionality allows you to resynchronize your media information, add or remove folders when scanning for files, and configure the remote connection among different computers that have iFunPix installed. This is really a great application that provides you with all the imaginable functionality you need to share your media files with anyone you would like to. |
